I love my K but I hate these mirror on the steering wheel. I heard that BMW planned them originally in the black boxes on either side of the fairing. Apparently the German TUV did not approve of this. Does anybody know if there is some manufacturer that does make mirrors to put in this original space so the ugly mirrors on the steering wheel can go?

Harvey

I´ve never heared of a K with Mirrors in the "ears" because if you place them there, you will see nothing but your legs in it.
The only alternative is here:
http://shop.tecodata.de/shop.asp?SID=10 ... 1&lang=_en
My own K (99er) has these mirrors and they work well.
Gives the K a little "insectoide" touch.

Marcus
