bei den Luftgekühlten war es ja möglich zwei Radsätze zu codieren.
Bei den 1200 LC 's ist nur noch ein Satz möglich. Es wird ja keine Unmenge von verschiedenen Sensoren geben.
Gibt es eine Zuordnungsliste ... irgendwo ? Könnte man zweimal den gleichen Sensor beschaffen ?
Kann ich auslesen welche Sensoren Nummer ich montiert habe ? Ohne ein Loch in den Reifen zu schneiden .
..... wenn der entsprechende Code im RDC Steuergerät abgelegt wird ........
Könnte man das vorhandene Steuergerät einfach gegen ein gleiches mit gespeicherten Code eines zweiten Radsatzes austauschen ?
Technically yes, since it's stored in "non volatile" memory…but when I'm referencing the RDC control unit, I mean the part that is in the wiring of the CanBus of the bike.
This unit is BMW CONTROL UNIT RDC Part # 65758546222 and is listed to cost about $395 USD.
I have 4 complete sets of FR and Rear rims (8 in total) that I switch out frequently as trip distances dictate, so just using the "Wake-Up" Tool and capturing then recording the TPMS sending units unique serial number allows me to quickly use the GS-911 to register with the RDC what rim is carrying a specific TPMS on the bike at any time.

Jetzt mal ernsthaft, würdest du 160€ für so ein Gerät ausgeben das vielleicht 1x gebraucht wird?
Wenn es nur ums aktivieren der Sensoren geht habe ich dieses Gerät gekauft und bereits positiv getestet. Die Sensoren kann man damit einzeln einschalten. It appears that the device you reference will send a "wake-up" pulse to the TPMS sender we have in our bikes that utilize the 433Mhz line of communication.
The second part of the process involves a connected device on the Diagnostic Plug of the bike so that the serial number of the now activated TPMS can be defined into the bikes 1 or 2 reserved storage areas.
So, waking up a TPMS to record it's ID is essential, but using some kind of Diagnostic Interface Software connected to the BMW plug to tell the bike what TPMS is installed.
