Setup: instead of the warning light, put a wire to the (-) pole
with a switch and a LED according to this diagram.
a - start the engine
b - press the switch for 5 secondes
c - wait for flashes ( [1-4][1-4][1-4][1-4] code).
d - "goto" (b) to get the new code.
Does-it work?

and the motronic will send the data though his pin #20 (temp. warning light).

About the "VI" 6:
I (ME) understand that the diagram is wrong about the warning light:
- one wire go to the pin #18 (H9001-A9001-X9022-A9500
- one wire go to ground (H9001-A9001-X9022-X9231-G9230) FALSE !!!!
=> I found +12V on this wire!
