Mine started leaking at 50K mi. I took it apart and measured the seals. Then I went down to the local bearing shop and ordered the seals ($2 ea. I think). My steering damper is leaking oil and I have taken it appart for replacing the 2 O-rings. My problem is that I don't know what type and amount of oil. If anybody has the information I will be very pleased to hear the answer .

The same here: It took me 6 hours. The chamber for the slavecylinder was filled with rusty brown sludge. I found it surprisingly easy - the only difficult part was to loosen the swing arm bolts, but with some professionel air - tool it was no major problem.

My clutch on my 1997 K12 61.000 km has failed several times - removing the air solves the problem for ca. 2.000 km.
